CRF Advisors is a credit risk management firm that services financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and financial services companies. We focus on assisting clients with the identification of potential credit issues through loan portfolio credit review and portfolio stress testing.
Specialties include Implementation of ALLL methodology to ensure compliance with FFIEC Interagency policy, valuation and accounting of impaired loans, TDR’s, and other real estate owned. We also provide assistance with the preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q, financial statements and disclosures for clients in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulation.
Ted Ahn – Team Leader
Ted Ahn is the engagement leader and is responsible for managing the engagement. Ted is the Director of the credit risk division of CRF Advisors, a credit risk management firm that services financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and financial services companies. Ted has over 20 years in banking which includes 9 years’ experience as external and internal auditor (RSM Mcgladrey) for financial institutions, and financial services companies ranging in asset size from $40 million to $5 billion. Ted has managed financial institution credit risk and audit engagements, performed credit review of loan portfolios ranging from $40 million to $5 billion, reviewed, and assisted clients in implementing ALLL methodology in compliance with the Interagency ALLL Policy Statement and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). His experience also includes assistance in developing and reviewing 10-K, 10-Q, financial statements, and disclosures for clients in compliance with GAAP and SEC, providing business advice opportunities and/or reportable internal control conditions; and creating analytical models for credit risk.
Joshua Cash – Credit Risk Manager
Joshua Cash is a senior credit analyst that performs detail credit review and stress test analysis for CRF Advisors. Joshua has 12 years in banking. Joshua’s experience includes working as a credit analyst at two regional banks and management of 12 tellers at Wells Fargo including the management of deposits and loans at the local branch. Josh has been with CRF Advisors for 5 years and risk management activities related to credit risk assessment, credit risk grading and to the performance of structured portfolio loan and relationship reviews.
Evan Cywinski - Senior Credit Analyst
Evan Cywinski is a senior credit analyst that performs detailed credit review and stress test analysis for CRF Advisors. Evan has 9 years in banking and has worked in the credit department for mid- size financial institutions. Evan’s experience includes management of all portfolio risk management activities related to credit underwriting, credit risk assessment, credit risk grading and to the performance of structured portfolio loan and relationship reviews.
Daniel Kim – Senior Credit Analyst
Daniel Kim is a senior credit analyst that performs detail credit review and stress test analysis for CRF Advisors. Daniel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an economics degree. Dan has 10 years in banking and has worked in the credit department for large financial institutions. Daniel’s experience includes credit risk assessment modeling, credit risk policy review and management of all portfolio risk management activities related to credit underwriting.
Ryan Chung - Credit Analyst
Ryan Chung is a credit analyst that performs detailed credit review and stress test analysis for CRF Advisors. Ryan graduated from Boston University with a CS and economics degree. Ryan has 3 years in banking and has worked in the credit department for large financial institutions. Ryan’s experience includes credit risk assessment modeling, credit risk policy review and management of all portfolio risk management activities related to credit underwriting.
